As I slowly move towards using bold bright colours. This was a Christmas gift which I have already given. I like how the yellow, red, orange and purples look together. Also, you can’t go wrong with weird looking stripey sock plants…
No new drawings to post tonight (schecretsss!) but I just wanted to note that I absolutely hate the purple marker that I tried to use tonight… its waaay too hard to use without making blotches and stripes all over the place and I wanted to throw it across the room…

I bought some new colours again this afternoon. I really like those two greens together and all the oranges in the frame. The purple was a pain to colour in evenly. Really happy with how this one turned out though. It was an evening well spent drawing, listening to Mirah and daydreaming.
Working on secret drawings… so tempted to upload them onto here to share right now… but, but…. GAH… I am so horrible with keeping secrets…

I moved into a new apartment yesterday. In the time leading up to the move I haven’t had much time for drawing so it’s been a while since I’ve done anything. After spending all of yesterday packing, loading everything into a truck, unloading the truck, unpacking, cleaning and moving stuff around my apartment I can honestly say that I have NO INTEREST AT ALL in unpacking or doing anything today, despite there still being tons of work left. I’m just totally exhausted.
So I sat down to draw and relax for a while. I noticed my hand is actually shaking a lot today. Probably because of all the lifting yesterday. But despite that I managed to sketch, pen and colour Krognor here. Hopefully over the next couple of days/weeks I’ll have time to draw a bunch more. Though technically I have a lot of work to do settling into my new apartment.
Just knowing I have all my stuff moved is a huge relief and there is technically no rush to unpack absolutely everything right away…
Anyway, enjoy the hypnotic gaze of Krognor….
I haven’t had a chance to draw much lately because I’ve been packing and/or stressing out about moving into my new apartment. Right now my sketchbooks and pens are actually in a box waiting to be moved this Saturday.
One of the best things about my new apartment though is that it’s relatively HUGE. I’ll have a whole room I can use for artwork, sewing, drawing and all my other various creative projects. I haven’t had a proper creative space for a long time so I’m really, really looking forward to it. So hopefully I’ll be producing all sorts of awesome stuff soon and posting them on here…

I had been working on the idea for this for over a week. Doing little sketches and just day dreaming about a giant sea monster attacking people and crawling out of the frame. I really like how it turned out.
